GeForce RTX 4070 Ti 285 Watts
Difference: 210 Watts (280%)

Memory Bandwidth

In theory, the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti will be 500% faster than the GeForce GTX 1050 3GB in general, due to its higher data rate. (explain)

GeForce RTX 4070 Ti 516096 MB/sec
GeForce GTX 1050 3GB 86016 MB/sec
Difference: 430080 (500%)

Texel Rate

The GeForce RTX 4070 Ti will be a lot (about 730%) better at anisotropic filtering than the GeForce GTX 1050 3GB. (explain)

GeForce RTX 4070 Ti 554400 Mtexels/sec
GeForce GTX 1050 3GB 66816 Mtexels/sec
Difference: 487584 (730%)

Pixel Rate

If using a high resolution is important to you, then the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti is a better choice, by a large margin. (explain)

GeForce RTX 4070 Ti 184800 Mpixels/sec
GeForce GTX 1050 3GB 33408 Mpixels/sec
Difference: 151392 (453%)

Please note that the above 'benchmarks' are all just theoretical - the results were calculated based on the card's specifications, and real-world performance may (and probably will) vary at least a bit.

Memory Bandwidth: Bandwidth is the maximum amount of data (counted in MB per second) that can be moved over the external memory interface in a second. It is worked out by multiplying the bus width by its memory clock speed. If it uses DDR memory, it should be multiplied by 2 once again. If DDR5, multiply by 4 instead. The higher the card's memory bandwidth, the faster the card will be in general. It especially helps with AA, High Dynamic Range and higher screen resolutions.

Texel Rate: Texel rate is the maximum number of texture map elements (texels) that are processed per second. This figure is worked out by multiplying the total amount of texture units by the core speed of the chip. The higher this number, the better the graphics card will be at handling texture filtering (anisotropic filtering - AF). It is measured in millions of texels applied in a second.

Pixel Rate: Pixel rate is the maximum number of pixels that the graphics chip could possibly write to the local memory per second - measured in millions of pixels per second. The figure is worked out by multiplying the number of Raster Operations Pipelines by the the card's clock speed. ROPs (Raster Operations Pipelines - also called Render Output Units) are responsible for filling the screen with pixels (the image). The actual pixel output rate also depends on lots of other factors, most notably the memory bandwidth - the lower the memory bandwidth is, the lower the ability to get to the maximum fill rate.
