Compare any two graphics cards:
GeForce RTX 3070 Ti vs GeForce RTX 3080
IntroThe GeForce RTX 3070 Ti features a GPU core speed of 1575 MHz, and the 8192 MB of GDDR6X memory runs at 1188 MHz through a 256-bit bus. It also features 6144 Stream Processors, 192 Texture Address Units, and 96 Raster Operation Units.Compare that to the GeForce RTX 3080, which features clock speeds of 1440 MHz on the GPU, and 1188 MHz on the 10240 MB of GDDR6X RAM. It features 8704 SPUs as well as 272 Texture Address Units and 96 Rasterization Operator Units.

Power Usage and Theoretical BenchmarksPower Consumption (Max TDP)
Memory BandwidthThe GeForce RTX 3080 should in theory be quite a bit faster than the GeForce RTX 3070 Ti overall. (explain)
Texel RateThe GeForce RTX 3080 should be much (more or less 30%) better at AF than the GeForce RTX 3070 Ti. (explain)
Pixel RateThe GeForce RTX 3070 Ti should be a bit (more or less 9%) faster with regards to FSAA than the GeForce RTX 3080, and able to handle higher screen resolutions without losing too much performance. (explain)
Please note that the above 'benchmarks' are all just theoretical - the results were calculated based on the card's specifications, and real-world performance may (and probably will) vary at least a bit. Price Comparison

Memory Bandwidth: Bandwidth is the max amount of data (counted in MB per second) that can be moved over the external memory interface in one second. It's calculated by multiplying the card's interface width by the speed of its memory. If it uses DDR type RAM, the result should be multiplied by 2 once again. If it uses DDR5, multiply by 4 instead. The higher the memory bandwidth, the better the card will be in general. It especially helps with anti-aliasing, HDR and higher screen resolutions. Texel Rate: Texel rate is the maximum amount of texture map elements (texels) that can be processed per second. This figure is calculated by multiplying the total texture units of the card by the core clock speed of the chip. The higher the texel rate, the better the video card will be at handling texture filtering (anisotropic filtering - AF). It is measured in millions of texels applied in one second. Pixel Rate: Pixel rate is the maximum amount of pixels that the graphics card could possibly record to the local memory in one second - measured in millions of pixels per second. The figure is worked out by multiplying the amount of colour ROPs by the the core clock speed. ROPs (Raster Operations Pipelines - sometimes also referred to as Render Output Units) are responsible for filling the screen with pixels (the image). The actual pixel fill rate also depends on many other factors, especially the memory bandwidth of the card - the lower the memory bandwidth is, the lower the ability to get to the max fill rate.
