In theory, the Radeon RX 6800 will be 167% quicker than the GeForce GTX 1060 3GB overall, due to its greater data rate. (explain)

Radeon RX 6800 524288 MB/sec
GeForce GTX 1060 3GB 196608 MB/sec
Difference: 327680 (167%)

Texel Rate

The Radeon RX 6800 is much (approximately 276%) faster with regards to anisotropic filtering than the GeForce GTX 1060 3GB. (explain)

Radeon RX 6800 408000 Mtexels/sec
GeForce GTX 1060 3GB 108432 Mtexels/sec
Difference: 299568 (276%)

Pixel Rate

If running with lots of anti-aliasing is important to you, then the Radeon RX 6800 is a better choice, by a large margin. (explain)

Radeon RX 6800 163200 Mpixels/sec
GeForce GTX 1060 3GB 72288 Mpixels/sec
Difference: 90912 (126%)

Please note that the above 'benchmarks' are all just theoretical - the results were calculated based on the card's specifications, and real-world performance may (and probably will) vary at least a bit.

Memory Bandwidth: Memory bandwidth is the largest amount of information (in units of megabytes per second) that can be transferred across the external memory interface in one second. The number is calculated by multiplying the interface width by its memory clock speed. In the case of DDR type RAM, it must be multiplied by 2 again. If it uses DDR5, multiply by ANOTHER 2x. The higher the memory bandwidth, the better the card will be in general. It especially helps with anti-aliasing, High Dynamic Range and higher screen resolutions.

Texel Rate: Texel rate is the maximum amount of texture map elements (texels) that can be processed in one second. This number is calculated by multiplying the total amount of texture units of the card by the core clock speed of the chip. The better the texel rate, the better the graphics card will be at texture filtering (anisotropic filtering - AF). It is measured in millions of texels in one second.

Pixel Rate: Pixel rate is the maximum number of pixels that the graphics chip could possibly record to the local memory per second - measured in millions of pixels per second. Pixel rate is worked out by multiplying the amount of ROPs by the clock speed of the card. ROPs (Raster Operations Pipelines - aka Render Output Units) are responsible for filling the screen with pixels (the image). The actual pixel rate also depends on quite a few other factors, especially the memory bandwidth of the card - the lower the bandwidth is, the lower the ability to get to the max fill rate.
