Compare any two graphics cards:
GeForce GTX 560 vs GeForce GTX 560 Ti
IntroThe GeForce GTX 560 features a clock frequency of 810 MHz and a GDDR5 memory speed of 1001 MHz. It also uses a 256-bit bus, and uses a 40 nm design. It features 336 SPUs, 56 Texture Address Units, and 32 Raster Operation Units.Compare those specifications to the GeForce GTX 560 Ti, which has core speeds of 822 MHz on the GPU, and 1002 MHz on the 1024 MB of GDDR5 memory. It features 384 SPUs as well as 64 Texture Address Units and 32 Rasterization Operator Units.

Power Usage and Theoretical BenchmarksPower Consumption (Max TDP)
Memory BandwidthThe GeForce GTX 560 Ti should theoretically perform just a bit faster than the GeForce GTX 560 in general. (explain)
Texel RateThe GeForce GTX 560 Ti should be a bit (more or less 16%) faster with regards to anisotropic filtering than the GeForce GTX 560. (explain)
Pixel RateThe GeForce GTX 560 Ti should be just a bit (more or less 1%) faster with regards to AA than the GeForce GTX 560, and also will be able to handle higher resolutions better. (explain)
Please note that the above 'benchmarks' are all just theoretical - the results were calculated based on the card's specifications, and real-world performance may (and probably will) vary at least a bit. Price Comparison

Memory Bandwidth: Bandwidth is the largest amount of information (measured in MB per second) that can be moved past the external memory interface in one second. It's worked out by multiplying the bus width by its memory speed. If the card has DDR type memory, the result should be multiplied by 2 again. If DDR5, multiply by 4 instead. The better the card's memory bandwidth, the faster the card will be in general. It especially helps with anti-aliasing, High Dynamic Range and high resolutions. Texel Rate: Texel rate is the maximum texture map elements (texels) that are processed in one second. This is worked out by multiplying the total texture units of the card by the core clock speed of the chip. The higher the texel rate, the better the graphics card will be at handling texture filtering (anisotropic filtering - AF). It is measured in millions of texels per second. Pixel Rate: Pixel rate is the maximum number of pixels the graphics card can possibly write to the local memory in one second - measured in millions of pixels per second. The number is worked out by multiplying the amount of Raster Operations Pipelines by the the core speed of the card. ROPs (Raster Operations Pipelines - sometimes also referred to as Render Output Units) are responsible for outputting the pixels (image) to the screen. The actual pixel rate also depends on many other factors, especially the memory bandwidth of the card - the lower the memory bandwidth is, the lower the ability to get to the max fill rate.
