Radeon HD 6770 1GB 67200 MB/sec
Radeon HD 3650 256MB 25600 MB/sec
Difference: 41600 (163%)

Texel Rate

The Radeon HD 6770 1GB should be quite a bit (more or less 521%) faster with regards to AF than the Radeon HD 3650 256MB. (explain)

Radeon HD 6770 1GB 36000 Mtexels/sec
Radeon HD 3650 256MB 5800 Mtexels/sec
Difference: 30200 (521%)

Pixel Rate

If running with high levels of AA is important to you, then the Radeon HD 6770 1GB is a better choice, by a large margin. (explain)

Radeon HD 6770 1GB 14400 Mpixels/sec
Radeon HD 3650 256MB 2900 Mpixels/sec
Difference: 11500 (397%)

Please note that the above 'benchmarks' are all just theoretical - the results were calculated based on the card's specifications, and real-world performance may (and probably will) vary at least a bit.

Memory Bandwidth: Memory bandwidth is the maximum amount of data (measured in MB per second) that can be moved across the external memory interface within a second. It is worked out by multiplying the card's interface width by its memory clock speed. In the case of DDR RAM, it should be multiplied by 2 once again. If it uses DDR5, multiply by ANOTHER 2x. The better the card's memory bandwidth, the faster the card will be in general. It especially helps with AA, High Dynamic Range and higher screen resolutions.

Texel Rate: Texel rate is the maximum texture map elements (texels) that are processed in one second. This figure is calculated by multiplying the total number of texture units by the core clock speed of the chip. The better the texel rate, the better the graphics card will be at texture filtering (anisotropic filtering - AF). It is measured in millions of texels per second.

Pixel Rate: Pixel rate is the most pixels the graphics card can possibly record to its local memory in one second - measured in millions of pixels per second. Pixel rate is calculated by multiplying the number of ROPs by the clock speed of the card. ROPs (Raster Operations Pipelines - aka Render Output Units) are responsible for filling the screen with pixels (the image). The actual pixel rate is also dependant on quite a few other factors, most notably the memory bandwidth of the card - the lower the memory bandwidth is, the lower the potential to get to the max fill rate.
