As far as performance goes, the Radeon HD 6750 1GB should theoretically be much superior to the Radeon HD 3470 512MB overall. (explain)

Radeon HD 6750 1GB 64000 MB/sec
Radeon HD 3470 512MB 30400 MB/sec
Difference: 33600 (111%)

Texel Rate

The Radeon HD 6750 1GB will be much (approximately 716%) faster with regards to texture filtering than the Radeon HD 3470 512MB. (explain)

Radeon HD 6750 1GB 26100 Mtexels/sec
Radeon HD 3470 512MB 3200 Mtexels/sec
Difference: 22900 (716%)

Pixel Rate

If using high levels of AA is important to you, then the Radeon HD 6750 1GB is superior to the Radeon HD 3470 512MB, by a large margin. (explain)

Radeon HD 6750 1GB 11600 Mpixels/sec
Radeon HD 3470 512MB 3200 Mpixels/sec
Difference: 8400 (263%)

Please note that the above 'benchmarks' are all just theoretical - the results were calculated based on the card's specifications, and real-world performance may (and probably will) vary at least a bit.

Memory Bandwidth: Bandwidth is the largest amount of data (measured in megabytes per second) that can be moved past the external memory interface within a second. It is calculated by multiplying the interface width by the speed of its memory. If the card has DDR memory, it should be multiplied by 2 once again. If DDR5, multiply by ANOTHER 2x. The higher the memory bandwidth, the faster the card will be in general. It especially helps with AA, High Dynamic Range and higher screen resolutions.

Texel Rate: Texel rate is the maximum amount of texture map elements (texels) that are processed per second. This figure is calculated by multiplying the total amount of texture units by the core clock speed of the chip. The better the texel rate, the better the graphics card will be at handling texture filtering (anisotropic filtering - AF). It is measured in millions of texels in a second.

Pixel Rate: Pixel rate is the maximum number of pixels the video card can possibly write to its local memory per second - measured in millions of pixels per second. Pixel rate is worked out by multiplying the number of colour ROPs by the the card's clock speed. ROPs (Raster Operations Pipelines - aka Render Output Units) are responsible for drawing the pixels (image) on the screen. The actual pixel fill rate is also dependant on many other factors, especially the memory bandwidth of the card - the lower the bandwidth is, the lower the potential to get to the maximum fill rate.
