GeForce GT 240 GDDR5 vs Radeon HD 6670 (OEM)
IntroThe GeForce GT 240 GDDR5 comes with a core clock frequency of 550 MHz and a GDDR5 memory frequency of 850 MHz. It also features a 128-bit memory bus, and uses a 40 nm design. It is comprised of 96 SPUs, 32 TAUs, and 8 ROPs.Compare those specifications to the Radeon HD 6670 (OEM), which uses a 40 nm design. AMD has set the core speed at 800 MHz. The GDDR5 memory works at a speed of 1000 MHz on this specific card. It features 480 SPUs along with 24 TAUs and 8 ROPs.

Power Usage and Theoretical BenchmarksPower Consumption (Max TDP)
Memory BandwidthTheoretically speaking, the Radeon HD 6670 (OEM) should perform a small bit faster than the GeForce GT 240 GDDR5 in general. (explain)
Texel RateThe Radeon HD 6670 (OEM) will be a bit (more or less 9%) faster with regards to texture filtering than the GeForce GT 240 GDDR5. (explain)
Pixel RateIf running with a high resolution is important to you, then the Radeon HD 6670 (OEM) is the winner, and very much so. (explain)
Please note that the above 'benchmarks' are all just theoretical - the results were calculated based on the card's specifications, and real-world performance may (and probably will) vary at least a bit. Price Comparison

Memory Bandwidth: Bandwidth is the largest amount of data (measured in MB per second) that can be transported past the external memory interface in one second. It is worked out by multiplying the card's interface width by its memory clock speed. If it uses DDR RAM, the result should be multiplied by 2 again. If it uses DDR5, multiply by ANOTHER 2x. The better the bandwidth is, the better the card will be in general. It especially helps with AA, HDR and higher screen resolutions. Texel Rate: Texel rate is the maximum texture map elements (texels) that are applied per second. This is calculated by multiplying the total texture units of the card by the core speed of the chip. The better the texel rate, the better the card will be at texture filtering (anisotropic filtering - AF). It is measured in millions of texels per second. Pixel Rate: Pixel rate is the most pixels the video card can possibly record to its local memory in one second - measured in millions of pixels per second. The number is calculated by multiplying the amount of colour ROPs by the clock speed of the card. ROPs (Raster Operations Pipelines - also called Render Output Units) are responsible for drawing the pixels (image) on the screen. The actual pixel output rate is also dependant on many other factors, especially the memory bandwidth of the card - the lower the memory bandwidth is, the lower the potential to reach the max fill rate.
