Radeon RX 6650 XT 176 Watts
Radeon R9 380X 190 Watts
Difference: 14 Watts (8%)

Memory Bandwidth

The Radeon RX 6650 XT should in theory be much faster than the Radeon R9 380X in general. (explain)

Radeon RX 6650 XT 287072 MB/sec
Radeon R9 380X 182400 MB/sec
Difference: 104672 (57%)

Texel Rate

The Radeon RX 6650 XT is much (about 112%) faster with regards to AF than the Radeon R9 380X. (explain)

Radeon RX 6650 XT 263040 Mtexels/sec
Radeon R9 380X 124160 Mtexels/sec
Difference: 138880 (112%)

Pixel Rate

If running with high levels of AA is important to you, then the Radeon RX 6650 XT is the winner, by far. (explain)

Radeon RX 6650 XT 131520 Mpixels/sec
Radeon R9 380X 31040 Mpixels/sec
Difference: 100480 (324%)

Please note that the above 'benchmarks' are all just theoretical - the results were calculated based on the card's specifications, and real-world performance may (and probably will) vary at least a bit.

Memory Bandwidth: Bandwidth is the max amount of data (counted in megabytes per second) that can be transferred past the external memory interface within a second. It is calculated by multiplying the card's bus width by its memory speed. If it uses DDR RAM, it should be multiplied by 2 once again. If it uses DDR5, multiply by 4 instead. The higher the card's memory bandwidth, the faster the card will be in general. It especially helps with AA, HDR and higher screen resolutions.

Texel Rate: Texel rate is the maximum amount of texture map elements (texels) that can be processed in one second. This figure is calculated by multiplying the total texture units by the core speed of the chip. The higher the texel rate, the better the card will be at handling texture filtering (anisotropic filtering - AF). It is measured in millions of texels processed in one second.

Pixel Rate: Pixel rate is the maximum amount of pixels that the graphics chip can possibly write to its local memory in one second - measured in millions of pixels per second. The figure is calculated by multiplying the number of Render Output Units by the the card's clock speed. ROPs (Raster Operations Pipelines - also sometimes called Render Output Units) are responsible for drawing the pixels (image) on the screen. The actual pixel output rate is also dependant on lots of other factors, especially the memory bandwidth of the card - the lower the bandwidth is, the lower the ability to reach the max fill rate.
