GeForce GTX 650 Ti vs Radeon RX 6750 XT

Intro

The GeForce GTX 650 Ti features core speeds of 928 MHz on the GPU, and 1350 MHz on the 1024 MB of GDDR5 memory. It features 768 SPUs as well as 64 Texture Address Units and 16 Rasterization Operator Units.

Compare those specifications to the Radeon RX 6750 XT, which comes with a core clock frequency of 2150 MHz and a GDDR6 memory frequency of 2250 MHz. It also makes use of a 192-bit memory bus, and uses a 7 nm design. It is comprised of 2560 SPUs, 160 Texture Address Units, and 64 Raster Operation Units.

GeForce GTX 650 Ti 86400 MB/sec
Difference: 355968 (412%)

Texel Rate

The Radeon RX 6750 XT will be a lot (about 479%) better at anisotropic filtering than the GeForce GTX 650 Ti. (explain)

Radeon RX 6750 XT 344000 Mtexels/sec
GeForce GTX 650 Ti 59392 Mtexels/sec
Difference: 284608 (479%)

Pixel Rate

The Radeon RX 6750 XT is a lot (about 827%) faster with regards to full screen anti-aliasing than the GeForce GTX 650 Ti, and also capable of handling higher resolutions without slowing down too much. (explain)

Radeon RX 6750 XT 137600 Mpixels/sec
GeForce GTX 650 Ti 14848 Mpixels/sec
Difference: 122752 (827%)

Please note that the above 'benchmarks' are all just theoretical - the results were calculated based on the card's specifications, and real-world performance may (and probably will) vary at least a bit.

Memory Bandwidth: Bandwidth is the largest amount of information (in units of MB per second) that can be moved over the external memory interface in a second. It's calculated by multiplying the bus width by the speed of its memory. If the card has DDR type memory, it should be multiplied by 2 again. If it uses DDR5, multiply by ANOTHER 2x. The higher the bandwidth is, the faster the card will be in general. It especially helps with AA, High Dynamic Range and high resolutions.

Texel Rate: Texel rate is the maximum amount of texture map elements (texels) that can be processed per second. This is calculated by multiplying the total texture units of the card by the core speed of the chip. The better this number, the better the card will be at handling texture filtering (anisotropic filtering - AF). It is measured in millions of texels applied in a second.

Pixel Rate: Pixel rate is the maximum amount of pixels that the graphics card could possibly record to the local memory in a second - measured in millions of pixels per second. The number is worked out by multiplying the amount of Raster Operations Pipelines by the the core clock speed. ROPs (Raster Operations Pipelines - also sometimes called Render Output Units) are responsible for drawing the pixels (image) on the screen. The actual pixel fill rate is also dependant on quite a few other factors, most notably the memory bandwidth of the card - the lower the bandwidth is, the lower the potential to reach the max fill rate.
