Theoretically, the Radeon HD 6670 (OEM) should be quite a bit faster than the Radeon HD 3850 1GB in general. (explain)

Radeon HD 6670 (OEM) 64000 MB/sec
Radeon HD 3850 1GB 52992 MB/sec
Difference: 11008 (21%)

Texel Rate

The Radeon HD 6670 (OEM) is much (about 80%) faster with regards to anisotropic filtering than the Radeon HD 3850 1GB. (explain)

Radeon HD 6670 (OEM) 19200 Mtexels/sec
Radeon HD 3850 1GB 10688 Mtexels/sec
Difference: 8512 (80%)

Pixel Rate

If running with high levels of AA is important to you, then the Radeon HD 3850 1GB is a better choice, by a large margin. (explain)

Radeon HD 3850 1GB 10688 Mpixels/sec
Radeon HD 6670 (OEM) 6400 Mpixels/sec
Difference: 4288 (67%)

Please note that the above 'benchmarks' are all just theoretical - the results were calculated based on the card's specifications, and real-world performance may (and probably will) vary at least a bit.

Memory Bandwidth: Bandwidth is the max amount of information (measured in MB per second) that can be moved across the external memory interface in one second. It's calculated by multiplying the bus width by the speed of its memory. If it uses DDR memory, the result should be multiplied by 2 again. If it uses DDR5, multiply by ANOTHER 2x. The better the memory bandwidth, the faster the card will be in general. It especially helps with AA, HDR and high resolutions.

Texel Rate: Texel rate is the maximum texture map elements (texels) that are processed in one second. This is worked out by multiplying the total amount of texture units by the core speed of the chip. The better the texel rate, the better the card will be at handling texture filtering (anisotropic filtering - AF). It is measured in millions of texels applied in one second.

Pixel Rate: Pixel rate is the maximum number of pixels the graphics card can possibly record to the local memory per second - measured in millions of pixels per second. The number is worked out by multiplying the amount of colour ROPs by the clock speed of the card. ROPs (Raster Operations Pipelines - also called Render Output Units) are responsible for outputting the pixels (image) to the screen. The actual pixel rate is also dependant on many other factors, especially the memory bandwidth - the lower the memory bandwidth is, the lower the potential to get to the maximum fill rate.
