Compare any two graphics cards:
GeForce GTX 660 vs GeForce GTX 660 Ti
IntroThe GeForce GTX 660 makes use of a 28 nm design. nVidia has clocked the core frequency at 980 MHz. The GDDR5 RAM works at a speed of 1502 MHz on this specific card. It features 960 SPUs along with 80 TAUs and 24 Rasterization Operator Units.Compare all of that to the GeForce GTX 660 Ti, which uses a 28 nm design. nVidia has set the core frequency at 915 MHz. The GDDR5 RAM works at a speed of 1500 MHz on this particular model. It features 1344 SPUs along with 112 Texture Address Units and 24 ROPs.

BenchmarksThese are real-world performance benchmarks that were submitted by Hardware Compare users. The scores seen here are the average of all benchmarks submitted for each respective test and hardware.
3DMark Fire Strike Graphics Score
Power Usage and Theoretical BenchmarksPower Consumption (Max TDP)
Memory BandwidthPerformance-wise, the GeForce GTX 660 should theoretically be a small bit better than the GeForce GTX 660 Ti in general. (explain)
Texel RateThe GeForce GTX 660 Ti will be quite a bit (about 31%) more effective at AF than the GeForce GTX 660. (explain)
Pixel RateThe GeForce GTX 660 is a small bit (more or less 7%) better at full screen anti-aliasing than the GeForce GTX 660 Ti, and also will be capable of handling higher screen resolutions better. (explain)
Please note that the above 'benchmarks' are all just theoretical - the results were calculated based on the card's specifications, and real-world performance may (and probably will) vary at least a bit. Price Comparison

Display Specifications
Memory Bandwidth: Bandwidth is the max amount of information (in units of MB per second) that can be moved past the external memory interface in one second. The number is worked out by multiplying the interface width by its memory speed. If the card has DDR type RAM, it should be multiplied by 2 once again. If it uses DDR5, multiply by 4 instead. The better the card's memory bandwidth, the faster the card will be in general. It especially helps with AA, HDR and higher screen resolutions. Texel Rate: Texel rate is the maximum amount of texture map elements (texels) that can be processed per second. This figure is worked out by multiplying the total texture units by the core speed of the chip. The higher this number, the better the card will be at handling texture filtering (anisotropic filtering - AF). It is measured in millions of texels applied in one second. Pixel Rate: Pixel rate is the maximum amount of pixels that the graphics chip could possibly write to the local memory per second - measured in millions of pixels per second. Pixel rate is worked out by multiplying the amount of ROPs by the the core clock speed. ROPs (Raster Operations Pipelines - also called Render Output Units) are responsible for drawing the pixels (image) on the screen. The actual pixel fill rate is also dependant on lots of other factors, especially the memory bandwidth - the lower the bandwidth is, the lower the potential to get to the max fill rate.

Just bought non Ti version
Is it worth buying non ti? like i don't care how much they cost i want the best one, which one is it of those 2?
I'm getting the non Ti. That 31% isn't worth another $100.
fuck u devesh
msg2short
Which can I choose?
Easy choice, definitely 660 Ti, runs much better than what it says in the review, everyone, go for the TI version
Take non Ti cards, don't pay more, dudes
Simply, even compared to GTX 670 take the GTX 660 instead!
GTX 660 costs about 200$+ and is just about 30-40% slover than a GTX 670 which cost 400$...
You will not see difference if you don't have problems with FPS...
Man just buy Ati radeon hd 7870 this is very cheap and better than both gtx 660 and ti
sheraz
if we want to use ATi radeon 7870 we need amd motherboard cause this card has crossfire technology which is you can only use on amd motherboards
Shoaib watch this video u will see how to install this card
in this video he have intel motherboard so u are wrong u can install this card on intel motherboard
u can install it on intel motherboard . crossfire means AMD multi GPU setup
I am dealor of 3D cards and wana share that GTX 660 ti is bettet than GTX 660 at very small value. So if any one wana know which is best i know a lot better than u guys
so prefer 660 Ti if there is no problum of money
Mr sheraz says HD 7870 is much cheaper than 660 660 ti,bro this card is about 370 dollers and the GTX 660 ti is about 275 dollers so what in a God name is the HD 7870 cheaper than Gtx 660 and 660 ti
Dont talk if u dont know about prises
@John Lerages,
Don't talk about what you do or do not know when you can't even speak english. Get a life and don't go dissing other people MR "Better than you guys" You seem like a tosspot nub.
lol , ahaha , chill
Fight Fight Fight
i am from russia komunizm says me to buy ti
The NON Ti is better value for money but if you are looking for performance and are willing to pay an extra $100 or so go for the GTX 660Ti.
What would be the difference between an oveclocked 660 and the Ti version?
Speeds could be the same but you still have the advantage of having more capbilities from the start. Go with a cheaper Ti and you'll only be spending about 60$ more over the regular 660, providing you buy them new. Used you could probly get a smokin' deal on a Ti though.
i want to buy a good gpu which one is good gtx 660 or hd 7870 plzz help....>>>
the difference between the GTX 660OC and GTX 660Ti in games this 10 frames.
which is gud for gaming
if a Gtx 660 is affordable for 200€ and a Gtx 660 TI for over 300€, than i would expect it to be 50% as better, but in the case it's NOT, so i would go for the 660 NON Ti
Got the 660ti for au$239 cause there not selling. when the 660 is au$215. Thought that was a pretty good buy.
At this point, the 660ti gives more bang for the buck as my purchase was only around $20 extra for the ti.
HURDY derh HURRRRRngh HUFFGG
I got a remanufactured GTX 660 OC 2 GB for $159 with free shipping.
The 660 TI was just out of my price range, at $230, plus $15 shipping.
Both cards have similar performance, and I'd rather spend the extra $85 towards an SSD.
It just depends on what kind of deals you can get, and of course I'm limited by my 460 watt power supply until I can upgrade it.
Anyone who is reading this, peace be with you. You have fallen into a trap.
Please explain this trap to me?
using html because i miss it...
