The GeForce GTX 660 Ti should theoretically be quite a bit faster than the GeForce GTX 260 overall. (explain)

GeForce GTX 660 Ti 144000 MB/sec
GeForce GTX 260 111888 MB/sec
Difference: 32112 (29%)

Texel Rate

The GeForce GTX 660 Ti is much (about 178%) faster with regards to AF than the GeForce GTX 260. (explain)

GeForce GTX 660 Ti 102480 Mtexels/sec
GeForce GTX 260 36864 Mtexels/sec
Difference: 65616 (178%)

Pixel Rate

If running with a high screen resolution is important to you, then the GeForce GTX 660 Ti is superior to the GeForce GTX 260, by far. (explain)

GeForce GTX 660 Ti 21960 Mpixels/sec
GeForce GTX 260 16128 Mpixels/sec
Difference: 5832 (36%)

Please note that the above 'benchmarks' are all just theoretical - the results were calculated based on the card's specifications, and real-world performance may (and probably will) vary at least a bit.

Memory Bandwidth: Memory bandwidth is the largest amount of data (in units of megabytes per second) that can be transported over the external memory interface within a second. It's calculated by multiplying the card's interface width by the speed of its memory. In the case of DDR type memory, it must be multiplied by 2 again. If DDR5, multiply by 4 instead. The higher the bandwidth is, the better the card will be in general. It especially helps with anti-aliasing, High Dynamic Range and higher screen resolutions.

Texel Rate: Texel rate is the maximum number of texture map elements (texels) that can be processed per second. This number is worked out by multiplying the total number of texture units of the card by the core clock speed of the chip. The better the texel rate, the better the video card will be at handling texture filtering (anisotropic filtering - AF). It is measured in millions of texels applied in one second.

Pixel Rate: Pixel rate is the maximum number of pixels the graphics card could possibly write to its local memory per second - measured in millions of pixels per second. The figure is calculated by multiplying the number of Render Output Units by the the core clock speed. ROPs (Raster Operations Pipelines - also sometimes called Render Output Units) are responsible for drawing the pixels (image) on the screen. The actual pixel rate also depends on many other factors, especially the memory bandwidth - the lower the memory bandwidth is, the lower the potential to get to the maximum fill rate.
