GeForce GTX 560 vs GeForce GTX 560 Ti
IntroThe GeForce GTX 560 comes with core clock speeds of 810 MHz on the GPU, and 1001 MHz on the 1024 MB of GDDR5 RAM. It features 336 SPUs along with 56 TAUs and 32 ROPs.Compare those specs to the GeForce GTX 560 Ti, which has a clock speed of 822 MHz and a GDDR5 memory frequency of 1002 MHz. It also features a 256-bit memory bus, and uses a 40 nm design. It is made up of 384 SPUs, 64 Texture Address Units, and 32 ROPs.

Power Usage and Theoretical BenchmarksPower Consumption (Max TDP)
Memory BandwidthAs far as performance goes, the GeForce GTX 560 Ti should theoretically be a small bit superior to the GeForce GTX 560 in general. (explain)
Texel RateThe GeForce GTX 560 Ti is a small bit (about 16%) better at AF than the GeForce GTX 560. (explain)
Pixel RateThe GeForce GTX 560 Ti is a small bit (more or less 1%) more effective at FSAA than the GeForce GTX 560, and also able to handle higher resolutions while still performing well. (explain)
Please note that the above 'benchmarks' are all just theoretical - the results were calculated based on the card's specifications, and real-world performance may (and probably will) vary at least a bit. Price Comparison

Memory Bandwidth: Bandwidth is the max amount of data (measured in MB per second) that can be transferred across the external memory interface in one second. It is worked out by multiplying the card's interface width by the speed of its memory. If the card has DDR RAM, it must be multiplied by 2 again. If it uses DDR5, multiply by ANOTHER 2x. The better the bandwidth is, the faster the card will be in general. It especially helps with anti-aliasing, HDR and high resolutions. Texel Rate: Texel rate is the maximum number of texture map elements (texels) that can be processed in one second. This number is worked out by multiplying the total amount of texture units of the card by the core speed of the chip. The higher this number, the better the card will be at texture filtering (anisotropic filtering - AF). It is measured in millions of texels applied per second. Pixel Rate: Pixel rate is the maximum number of pixels that the graphics card could possibly write to its local memory in one second - measured in millions of pixels per second. The number is calculated by multiplying the amount of Render Output Units by the the core clock speed. ROPs (Raster Operations Pipelines - also called Render Output Units) are responsible for filling the screen with pixels (the image). The actual pixel rate also depends on lots of other factors, most notably the memory bandwidth of the card - the lower the memory bandwidth is, the lower the potential to reach the maximum fill rate.
